Miami Heat’s Odds to Win 2011 NBA Championship

Miami Heat Sportsbook.com Betting Odds:
+180Miami Heat

That’s right, +180 to win the 2011 NBA Championship, amazing! Just check all the online sportsbooks world-wide and U.S. betting sites to see the odds for yourself. You could say Miami’s stock just went up. For those who have been living on Mars the past few weeks, or should I say past few years, LeBron James was a free agent this year along with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and others. And, the Miami Heat got them all!

To make all the pieces fit, you really needed a mastermind behind it all which in this case it was mostly Pat Riley. Riley strategically put a plan together to free up salary cap room the past few years, all to have the opportunity of signing James and Bosh, while re-signing Wade. Well, obviously his plan worked and worked extremely well!

All three players signed $100 million plus deals in multi-year contracts. Since the league increased the yearly salary cap by $2 million, all three players almost got their max deal which is mind-boggling. Since the new Big 3 Kings get so much in off-court endorsement deals, sacrificing a few dollars here and there in their contracts is not a big pill to swallow. Now that the contracts have been signed, it’s time to play some ball!

Miami Heat 2011 NBA Championship Prediction:

Now that LeBron James and Chris Bosh have joined Dwayne Wade in South Beach Miami, it’s time to talk about the 2010-2011 NBA Season. Can the Miami Heat win the 2011 NBA Championship? That is the new question going around the world by basketball fans. My answer, yes they will!

Basically, I look at it a few different ways. When the Boston Celtics acquired Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to join Paul Pierce, they won the first year they were together. Well, in my opinion, James, Bosh and Wade have more talent than Garnett, Allen and Pierce. Also, the new Big 3 Kings in Miami have joined forces at a much younger age and at the prime of their careers. The old Big 3 in Boston were slightly passed their prime when they joined forces. Sounds like Miami has a lot to look forward too!

The Celtics not only won the NBA Championship the first year the old Big 3 were together, but they easily could have won their second year if Garnett didn’t get injured, and they should have won this year against the Lakers. My point being, Boston easily should have 3 NBA Championships in the last 3 years, and yes I know they only have 1. But, as long as the new Big 3 Kings in Miami stay healthy, they will win those 3 NBA Championships in the first 3 years like the Celtics should have.

No NBA team out there has the defensive power to guard James, Wade and Bosh all at once. The Celtics sure can’t as well as the Lakers. Actually, I think the Celtics will best match-up against the Heat than any other team in the NBA. But, Miami has youth and career peaking players on their team, unlike the Boston Celtics. To sum it up, the Miami Heat will win the NBA Championship in 2011 as long as everyone stays healthy. If they stay healthy they will win 5 out of the 6 years they signed, one year there is bound to be an injury or fluke year.
