Liverpool FC Close to Triple Whammy Line Up
Liverpool FC, the iconic English soccer club, is rumored to be nearing the signing of three impressive contracts to take on board some serious talent. If everything goes according to plan, Victor Moses, Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori will be joining Liverpool in the upcoming season.
Nigerian international, Victor Moses, may be moved from his position as forward for Chelsea FC in a season-long loan deal, after a previous move from Wigan Athletic to Chelsea in 2012. West Bromwich have also had an eye on Moses, and Liverpool will need to sign on the dotted line before the transfer dead line comes into effect on Monday, before their rivals nab the young Nigerian.
In the meantime, 20 year old Sporting Lisbon center, Tiago Ilori is said to have traveled to England to undergo medical tests, and his new position with Liverpool will be finalized within days. News sources said on Friday that a fee had already been agreed for his transfer.
The final new player to join the ranks of Liverpool will be 23 year old Paris St Germain defender Mamadou Sakho who has been itching to move onto greener grass after expressing his frustration over the lack of serious competitive soccer in his home country, France.
In the meantime, Liverpool FC is dealing with the injuries of two team mates. Aly Cissokho has been banished to the sidelines for now to nurse his injured ankle, and he will take up position alongside long time injured player Sebastian Coates.
Speaking about Cissokho’s injury, Liverpool manager Gordon Rodgers said: “He could be four to six weeks, which is a blow because he came in and trained really well last week. But he is on crutches at the moment and we’ll look at that over the coming weeks.”
Cissokho will not join his teammates in their match against Manchester United this weekend.
