2013 Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers – Spreads
The first NFC Divisional playoff game will be the Packers vs 49ers this Saturday night, January 12th, in San Fran. I easily could see two home teams losing this weekend, the 49ers being one and the Falcons being the other.

Green Bay Packers:
The Green Bay Packers have had a pretty good year with all things considered. They have had numerous injuries with many of their starting players, but many of them are back now since the playoffs have started. They easily beat the Vikings last week, 24-10, but with the help of Minnesota’s starting quarterback not playing due to injury. Green Bay is starting to establish a run game with newly picked up young running back DuJuan Harris. The 49ers defense is much better than that of the Vikings, but I don’t see Aaron Rodgers having much of a problem.
San Francisco 49ers:
The 49ers are coming off a bye week which was much needed in order for them to draft a solid game plan against the Packers. They did beat Green Bay in the first game of the regular season this year, 30-22, but that was with 49er quarterback Alex Smith and not the young new quarterback Colin Kaepernick. And that my friend is the key to this game and why San Francisco will probably lose this game. Kaepernick has no playoff experience and little to no experience in very important games. He could become a good quarterback as he gains experience, and this will be a start in the right direction for his playoff career. He needs to have a great game in order for them to win.
Game Prediction:
The first NFC Divisional playoff game will be held this Saturday night in the beautiful city of San Francisco. The money lines are currently set at +135 Packers and -155 49ers, and I see great value in taking the Packers money line. Green Bay has a lot more playoff and big game experience than San Fran does, especially when it comes to the quarterback position which is the most crucial. If Keapernick has no turnovers, throws a few touchdowns along with a few big passing plays they might have a chance. If not, I give the Packers the nod and I do see them winning this game, beating the point spread and I take the under.
