2012 Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers

This is a very important game for the Packers to win in hopes of clinching their division with only four games remaining. The Lions on the other hand are at the bottom of their division, although they easily could be 8-4 instead of 4-8 with so many close games lost.

Detroit Lions (4-8) vs Green Bay Packers (8-4)

Prediction:
Packers Beat the Point Spread and I Take the Under

Location:
Green Bay, Wisconsin

Date:
Sunday December 9, 2012 at 8:20pm Eastern Time

Detroit Lions:
Although the Detroit Lions are 4-8, I believe they are a much better team then what their record shows. They have lost so many close games this year it’s almost silly, and I do see them have a very bright futures over the next five years. They are also in arguably the toughest division in the NFL this year, the NFC North, with the AFC North being the other tough division. This would be a big win if the Lions could would and savor some of their confidence.

Green Bay Packers:
The Green Bay Packers are back at the top of their division with a 8-4 record. The Chicago Bears also have an 8-4 record but the Pack beat them earlier in the year so the win the tie breaker. Nonetheless, this is a very important game for them to win, especially since it’s a divisional game. Green Bay has won six of their last seven games I believe and they have been without a few of their superstars, especially on defense, during that stretch. Once their team gets healthy, all teams better look out.

Game Prediction:
It’s always fun to watch the Packers play on Sunday Night Football regardless of who they are playing, and regardless if Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback; both being extremely entertaining to watch. If this game were being playing in Detroit I definitely would give them a realistic chance of winning this game because they are a very good ball club. But, unfortunately, this game is being playing in Green Bay. Sorry Lions fans but I predict the Packers winning this game, beating the point spread and I take the under.
