2012 Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans – Spreads

The Ravens vs Texans is the Game of the Week, in my opinion, for Week 7 in the NFL. Both these teams have the second best record in the entire league at 5-1. I personally think this is going to be a very good and close game, yet the professional bookies have the point spread set at 7 points favoring the Texans…. Much higher than I would have thought which concerns me a little so bet with caution on this game.

Baltimore Ravens:
The Baltimore Ravens have looked very solid thus far going into Week 7. They are at the top of their division with an impressive 5-1 record. They won a close game last week at home against the Dallas Cowboys, 31-29. To me, whichever team wins this game will definitely be the best team in the entire NFL at this point.

Houston Texans:
The Houston Texans looked unstoppable starting 5-0, but they finally suffered their first loss last week against a good Green Bay Packer team. In that game, ultimately, the Texans beat themselves. They had penalty after penalty at all the most critical times throughout the entire game. They did end up losing 42-24 but the score definitely doesn’t do a justice on how the game really went, they just as well could have won.

Game Prediction:
Get ready for a great Sunday Day football game, with the Baltimore Ravens facing the Houston Texans. This is definitely the best game of the week, with both teams at 5-1. I think the Ravens and Texans are two of the top three teams in the NFL currently, the San Francisco 49ers being the other, and I’m a little to see the spread set so high and seven points favoring the Texans. Not to say the Texans won’t win, which I believe they will since they are playing at home, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the Ravens won or if the Texans win by 6 points or less. In the end, I predict the Texans winning, not beating the point spread, and I take the under.
