2012 The Masters Betting Odds

The first Major in golf, The Masters, is being played this week at Augusta National. For most golf fans, The Masters is the most exciting golf tournament played throughout the year! The 2012 Masters could be the most exciting tournament in recent memory with all the exciting stories out there including Tiger’s recent win at Bay Hill, to Rory McIlroy now being a Major Champion with last year’s collapse, to Luke Donald’s reign of #1 in the world with still not having one a Major.

A lot going on and to talk about heading into this tournament which will only create much excitement, especially for those looking to place some wagers. 2012 Masters Predictions:
Usually, there are only about 5 tour pros that have a chance at winning a Green Jacket since most the field is filled with past old veteran winners that no longer can compete at the highest level, and the rest of the field not having the length it requires to score well at Augusta National. But, this year there are about a dozen players that have a great chance at winning the first Major of the year, which will make it extremely exciting to watch!

As I predicted before the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Tiger Woods would win both Arnold’s tournament and The Masters. Well, so far I am half way there but I’m sticking to that prediction and I do believe Tiger will win a Major once again. To go above that, not only do I think he will win, but he will do it in fashion by winning by at least 6 strokes. Bold prediction, yes, will it happen, we shall see but I like my chances.

Other than Tiger, I do predict Hunter Mahan and Rory McIlroy having a great chance at winning with all their recent success. Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia would be my next two pics, and other than that, I would save my money till the next Major than risking it on another player. Those are my five picks, and I wish you well on yours.
