Netherlands vs Spain Prediction:
The 2010 FIFA World Cup has been a year of surprises and upsets, but it’s no surprise to see Spain in the Finals. If you read my post on the Spain vs Germany match-up, you noticed I picked Spain to win in a very close game. Also, I noted that match was the Championship game in my opinion and the winner of that game will win the World Cup. Well, so far so good for Spain.

The Netherlands on the other hand has been playing terrific as well and deserves to be playing in the Finals against Spain. The Netherlands beat Uruguay in an exciting semifinal match, 3-2. As a reminder, Spain played Germany and won 1-0. Although the final score only shows 1-0, Spain completely dominated the game. Spain’s defensive play was outstanding which prevented Germany from having chances to score goals. Also, Spain had several great chances at scoring and easily could have had a few more goals added to their score.

Now, here we are the Netherlands vs Spain in the World Cup Finals. Well, I’m going to have to stick with my pre World Cup Prediction in Spain to win it all. Spain has definitely not let me down and I extremely like their chances in the Finals against the Netherlands, especially after seeing the online soccer betting odds. Spain’s defense has been outstanding, just look at Germany who had been scoring an unusually high number of goals against their opponents until they faced Spain and got shut out! Spain will also continue to play aggressive offense at strategic times, and as long as they stay unselfish they should get the amount of goals they need to win.

Prediction:
Spain Beats the Netherlands and I take the Over
