Boston Celtics vs Los Angeles Lakers Results:
First of all, wow, what a phenomenal Game 7 to close out the NBA Finals! Even if you aren’t a Celtics or Lakers fan, or even a basketball fan, and watched this final game you must have felt some excitement! The game came down to the last seconds and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics 83-79 in L.A. to win the NBA Championship two years in a row!

Both teams played outstanding defense and the Celtics were the dominant team for most of 3 ½ quarters. I think everyone thought for sure the Celtics were going win especially when they had a 13 point lead in the second half at one point. Kobe Bryant was struggling most the game but played a solid 4th quarter when his team needed him the most.

For those who might have wagered at their favorite online basketball betting site, the Lakers did not beat the point spread and the total final score was the under. I did predict the Lakers not to cover the point spread and took the under, but I also did predict the Celtics to win, which obviously was a bad prediction.

It was great for NBA basketball fans, great for the NBA, and great for the game of basketball to see the 2 biggest rivals battle it out for the NBA Championship. I believe this was the 62 NBA Championship series, and the Lakers and Celtics have won a combined 33 of those 62 Championships, pretty darn impressive if you ask me, and now I think you can understand how competitive these two teams are.

If head coach Doc River stays with the Celtics and Phil Jackson doesn’t retire, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see these teams battling it out again in the 2011 NBA Finals. Well, this was a great NBA season and the finish didn’t let us down. Already looking forward to next season!
