The Boston Celtics closed out the Orlando Magic in game 6 after having a 3-0 lead going into game 4. The game 4 and 5 win by the Magic have seemed to wear down the veteran stars of the Celtics a bit, along with causing some minor injuries to multiple players. If the Celtics could have won game 4 in Boston to close out the series, instead of losing in overtime, it definitely would have been a huge benefit for their team. However, the Celtics are filled with lots of experience and post season experience.
Los Angeles Lakers:
As like the Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers also won their series in game 6. The Lakers vs Suns seemed to be a better match-up than that of the Celtics vs Magic. Los Angeles will have the game 1 home court advantage to start of this NBA Championship. The Lakers are always extremely tough to beat at home, but anything can happen in the Final series.

Well, here we are, the NBA Finals. I would think the NBA must be extremely happy to see the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics playing in the NBA Championship. The Lakers and Celtics have a long history against one another. I believe they have played 12 times against each another in the NBA Championship, the Celtics winning 9 of 12 times. I am close to my prediction and if Rondo is 100% with no other team injuries during this series, I like Boston’s chances. However, the Lakers are 100% healthy going into game 1 and I do predict them winning the first game and beating the point spread in a high scoring game.
