The Transitions Championship:
This weeks PGA TOUR stop is at the lengthy, tough, and demanding Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort. Usually, long-ball hitters win this event like Retief Goosen did last year. It’s a par-71 playing 7,340 yards.

Ernie Els played great last week winning the CA Championship at Doral, which is one of the World Golf Championships which hosts the top professionals in the world. Ernie is taking this week off, but look for the other South African to defend his title, Retief Goosen.

The betting odds are listed below, but again, I like the long-ball hitters to have the best chance at winning this golf tournament. My top 3 picks for this week are Ian Poulter, Vijay Singh, and Retief Goosen. All three players have been playing well as of recent, and Ian Poulter finished last week event with a final round 64. Vijay Singh was at the top of the leader board once again at Doral, and Retief Goosen is the defending champion who has a game that fits this course very well.
