2012 Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be battling against the Denver Broncos in the first round of the NFL Playoffs. The Broncos got very lucky in many ways to be in this position and to have home field advantage against Pittsburgh. The Broncos won their division with an 8-8 record, which is very rare, even with a loss in their last game but got the help they needed when the Raiders also lost.

Pittsburgh Steelers:
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a pretty good year for the most part, tying their division with the Baltimore Ravens with a 12-4 record, but losing out on home field advantage. However, the Steelers have also been struggling with several key injuries, including foot issues with quarterback great Ben Roethlisberger. With all these injuries and the home field favoring Denver, I believe this game will be closer than anticipated.

Denver Broncos:
The Denver Broncos have had an up and down year, and definitely those most dramatic of all NFL teams. I think I would have suffered 3 heart-attacks throughout the season if I was the owner of this team. They started off slow, brought in Tim Tebow as quarterback and won several games in a row, then lost their last 3 but still ended up winning their division. Rollercoaster of a ride if you ask me, but playing at home is huge!

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos Prediction:
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be heading to Denver to face the Broncos in the first round of the playoffs. Even though the football sportsbooks are heavily favoring the Steelers, I do believe this game will be much closer than people think. The Broncos are playing at home, the Steelers have some key players that are injured, and Tim Tebow plays with a ton of heart even if he isn’t the best quarterback in the league by any means. Obviously the NFL is completely different than NCAA college football, but remember, Tebow has played in National Championship games before on a grand stage. In the end, I do predict the Steelers winning but not by much.

Prediction:
Pittsburgh Steelers Win, Don’t Beat Point Spread and I Take Over
