The Detroit Lions are coming off a tough loss against the Minnesota Vikings last week, losing 34-24 in Minnesota. They could not stop Adrian Peterson at all in that game, and they need to figure out how to stop the running game is they want to continue to win games. They have lots of talent and are arguably in the toughest division in the entire league, but they need to find ways to win. This is a very important game for them to win.

I always enjoy watching in-divisional games because anything can happen, and I think that’s why the spread is only favoring the Packers by 3 points. They teams hate each other and it’s an important game for both teams. The Lions need a win to keep their hopes alive in making the playoffs. The Packers need the win to get one game close to the Chicago Bears who are leading their division. There is no guarantee on being a Wild Card pick this season with so many good teams with good records out there. All in all, I predict Green Bay winning this game, beating the point spread, and I take the over.
