The Detroit Lions have had their ups and downs throughout the season but it’s nice to see the city of Detroit have something to cheer about seeing their Lions in the NFL Playoffs. The Lions did themselves a bad favor by basically losing to the Packers second string in the final game of the season to bump their position down to face the Saints. For those who recall, the Saints smashed the Lions in Week 13 with a 31-17 victory.

New Orleans Saints:
The New Orleans Saints are the hottest team going into the playoffs in my opinion; the Patriots are also on an 8 game winning streak. The Saints easily took care of the Lions just a few weeks ago and is a great point of consideration. New Orleans will also have the home field advantage, which is huge, and their starting quarterback Drew Brees is no stranger to leading his team to the Super Bowl.
