Dallas Cowboys:
Not that the preseason means a whole lot but the Cowboys did have a 3-1 record, bettering the Giants with a 2-2 record. Dallas is known as “America’s Football Team”, and I think many fans are eager to see if this will be their year. Or, if it will be another season filled with high hopes only resulting in disappointment. They missed the playoffs last year with an 8-8 record, and I don’t see them doing much better this year.
New York Giants:
At some point and time everyone will start to understand how good of a quarterback Eli Manning actually is. Eli knows how to win, is a winner, and finds a way to win. That, is a quarterback I want on my team. Tony Romo on the other hand is an above average quarterback when the games don’t count, and a below average quarterback when the games do count. Giants will have another great year.
Game Prediction:
You couldn’t ask for a much better NFL season opening game with the Cowboys and Giants. This is a great NFC East battle, as always, and it’s going to be a very tough division to win once again with the Eagles and Redskins amongst the group. With this game being played on the Giants home-field, I predict them beating the point spread in a lower scoring game.
