2012 Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars Game Prediction

Week 10’s Thursday Night Football Game will showcase two AFC South divisional teams, the Colts vs Jaguars. I’m a little surprised to see the spread favoring the Colts by only 3 points, so wager with caution on this game.

Prediction:
Colts Beat the Point Spread and I Take the Under

Location:
Jacksonville, Florida

Date:
Thursday November 8, 2012 at 8:20pm Eastern Time

Indianapolis Colts:
Rookie quarterback Andrew Luck is showing the world why he was picked #1 in the NFL draft. He is having a great season thus far and the Colts are an impressive 5-3 after 9 weeks, looking to go 6-3 after the Jaguars game. The fan voters at nfl.com show 61% the Colts will win this game. I’m surprised it’s not a little higher.

Jacksonville Jaguars:
The Jaguars are off to another horrible year. They are tied for last place with the worst record in the entire league with a 1-7 record. The Kansas City Chiefs are the only other team with 1 win in the NFL. Jacksonville needs to figure out a way to turn things around and fast. I’m not sure what is wrong with their system, but it seems they need an entire adjustment within the culture of their team.

Game Prediction:
To be honest, I’m very surprised to see the Colts favored by only 3 points going into this game set by the professional bookmakers. They must know something most of us don’t because I don’t see this being that close of a game. I mean the Jaguars have the worst record in the league and both their offense and defense is horrible. The only thing I can think of why the spread is so minimal is that it’s being played in Jacksonville and it’s an in-division game. But even with that being said, I still predict the Colts to win this game, beat the point spread, and I take the under.
