2012 Arnold Palmer Invitational

The PGA TOUR is at Arnold Palmer’s place this week, Bay Hill Lodge & Club, for the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard. The Tour professionals have been saying the golf course is in the best condition ever, which I’m sure the King is very proud of. Martin Laird was the 2011 champion, but we will see who this year’s winner will be, will it be Tiger?

Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Picks:
Tiger Woods is making an appearance for this year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, and let’s hope it is just more than an appearance this go around. Tiger has won The King’s tournament an impressive 6 times, most of them in spectacular finish on the 18th green. Will he do it again in 2012 and finally win his first PGA TOUR tournament since 2009? We shall see, but something tells me this could be the tournament that gets Tiger’s career back on track.

Although Tiger is coming off a withdrawal from the Honda Classic in the final round after a sore achilles tendon, he says he is healthy again and it showed with him playing in the Tavistock Cup. I really like Tiger’s chances, and if he doesn’t win at Bay Hill I would put my money on him winning The Masters. He is so very close and so very close to dominating again in my opinion, it’s just a matter of winning one PGA TOUR tournament.

If I had to pick three others to win this golf tournament, I would pick Jim Furyk, Nick Watney and Hunter Mahan. All three players are playing extremely well this year and as of late, and I think their game suits this golf course very well.
