2010 Wimbledon Semifinal Matches:
We are down to the semifinal matches for the men and women at Wimbledon. Their have been several upsets this year including Rodick and Federer for the men, and Venus Williams for the women.
The women will play their matches on July 1, 2010, while the men play on July 2, 2010. The first match for the women is Vera Zvonareva vs Tsvetana Pironkova. Both have been playing very well, and Zvonareva is the favorite to win. The second match is Serena Williams vs Petra Kvitova. Serena was the favorite going into Wimbledon and hasn’t let anyone down thus far. She is a heavy favorite in this match as you can see by the betting odds listed above.
As for the men, match 1 will consist of Tomas Berdych vs Novak Djokovic. This should be an extremely close match, and you might as well flip a coin to pick the winner, just look at the odds. Match 2 will be Andy Murray vs Rafael Nadal. After looking at the betting odds for this match, I was very surprised not to see Nadal a larger favorite. In my opinion, Nadal is not only a big favorite to win this match but the favorite to win it all.
