2010 The Masters Review:
Well, here we are, the first major of 2010 and it’s going to be one to remember. Tiger Woods will be playing his first golf tournament of the year, and it will be a major at Augusta National.

I think most golf fans are just happy to see Tiger playing competitive golf again, I know I am. As for the non-golf enthusiasts, they are excited to capture the drama for this event that surrounds Tiger. Either way, this will be a Masters to remember and most likely the highest televised PGA TOUR golf tournament in history by a long shot.

As for the tournament itself, not many changes have been made to the actual golf course this year, and Tiger is surprisingly still the favorite to win this event after having not played an official golf tournament since November of 2009. As for the other players, Phil Mickelson always has a solid chance at winning this prestigious tournament, and Ernie Els and Anthony Kim are probably the two hottest players entering The Masters.

My personal opinion of who will win this year will be a long ball hitter and great putter, which basically narrows it down to 4 main players; Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and Anthony Kim. If Ernie and Kim can putt well this week, they have a great chance at winning. Retief Goosen has been playing very well this year also, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him play great golf this week. I would like to see Jim Furyk win this week and Freddy Couples to play well, guess we will see how the chips fall.
