2010 St. Jude Classic Review:
This weeks PGA TOUR golf tournament is the St. Jude Classic Presented by Smith & Nephew in Memphis, Tennessee. The venue is TPC Southwind, a long and difficult golf course with the toughest par-3s on tour. Smith & Nephew is the new Title Sponsor for the St. Jude Classic, and most of the top tour professionals playing this week will be preparing for next weeks U.S. Open.
St. Jude Classic Picks:
Next week is the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, so most these players are getting in one more competitive tournament to put the final touches on their game. TPC Southwind is a very demanding course and you must be a great long-iron hitter. My favorite picks this week are Lee Westwood, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington, Camilo Villegas, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy, and Boo Weekley. In my opinion, all of these players have a great chance at winning this PGA TOUR tournament and their game’s fit this course perfectly.
