Saints vs Vikings Pre-Game:
It’s never too early to talk some football! We had an extremely exciting 2009-2010 NFL Football Season, and the 2010-2011 season should be that much more exciting! There have been several player shifts during the off season for several NFL teams, but the Saints and Vikings have stayed pretty much the same, at least for now.
I say for now because Brett Favre has yet to commit to the Minnesota Vikings for this year. However, Brett Favre has been working out with the high school team in Mississippi again, just like last year which brought him back for another year. Let’s just say, Saints, you better prepare to face off against Brett Favre once again.
Minnesota Vikings:
The Minnesota Vikings had a great season last year, although they did lose to the now Super Bowl Champions, New Orleans Saints, in the NFC Championship Game. The game did go into overtime, and it was disappointing to say the least for Brett Favre who was that close to another Super Bowl.
2010 marks a new year for the Vikings, and hopefully a new year for one of the football greats, Brett Favre. Brett Favre came off his best career performance last year, and I don’t think he is going to want to end his career on another interception to make it to the “big show”.
New Orleans Saints:
The New Orleans Saints beat the Vikings last year to make it to the Super Bowl, and yes they did end up with the Vince Lombardi trophy beating the Colts. For most football fans around the United States were happy to see the Saints win it all, especially since everything New Orleans had gone through, and is still going through.
All the big hitters for the Saints are expected to return and defend their world title as Super Bowl Champions. Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, and the like, will be ready for what is anticipated to be another great year for a great team
2010 Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints Prediction:
To me, it’s only fitting to have the defending champions play the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL Season Opener. This game is expected to be a very exciting and close match-up, as it was in the NFC Championship Game, as long as Brett Favre returns for another season.
My prediction for this great game is the Vikings to get a little revenge on the Saints. In my opinion, Brett Favre will return and come back with vengeance. Favre is going to show the world once again he can play football at the highest level in the most important position, quarterback. Vikings beat the point spread in a lower scoring game than predicted by football betting websites.
