2010 LPGA Championship Review:
This week’s LPGA Tour Tournament is the LGPA Championship Presented by Wegmans, the second Major of the year for the women’s best professional golfers.

This year’s LPGA Championship will be a little different than years past. 2010 hosts a new venue for this great championship at Locust Hill Country Club in New York. Previously, you may remember it being played at Bulle Rock in Maryland for quite some time. Also, the tournament will be without Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam and former #1 Lorena Ochoa, 2 of the best we were use to seeing in the past. However, there are several stars still in the field this week and a few who will be looking to become the next superstar!

LPGA Championship Picks:
The best professionals in women’s golf will be teeing it up once again at the LPGA Championship. Miyazato won again last week, shooting a final round 64, and took over the current #1 raking position in the world. She was won a majority of the tournaments this year and is my number one pick for this tournament. Paula Creamer is back from her thumb surgery and lead the first two rounds of last weeks LPGA stop. Now that she has one tournament under her belt going into this week, I like her chances of winning as well. Michelle Wie has been playing well, and I will look for her in winning her first LPGA Major at this event. Lastly, it wouldn’t surprise me if Kerr or Stanford held up the trophy when the week is over. Those are my 5 top picks for the LPGA Championship, lets see how they do.
